Under the direction of the City Manager and/or Assistant City Manager, the Public Works Director leads a full service public works operation. The City’s Public Works department operates with a budget of $7.3M and approximately 50 employees. The City of Commerce is seeking a Director who is experienced, technically competent, energetic, thoughtful, strategic, politically astute, yet apolitical and has the professional integrity to remain composed and objective.
