Beavers-Ames Lecturer in Heavy/Civil Construction The Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering at Arizona State University (ASU) and its School of Sustainable Engineering and the Built Environment (SSEBE) seek applicants for a full-time lecturer in the field of Heavy Construction. The School has established undergraduate and graduate programs in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, and Civil Engineering. The candidate is expected to contribute substantially to fulfilling teaching responsibilities in the Heavy/Civil Construction and closely related fields. Appointment will be in a non-tenure track at the Lecturer rank beginning as early as July 1, 2021. As part of fulfilling instructional duties in the school, the Beavers-Ames Lecturer in Heavy/Civil Construction will have the opportunity and is expected to be involved in:
The position is expected to cover foundational learning at the lower-division (Freshman and Sophomore) and specialized learning at the upper-division (Junior and Senior) of the Construction programs. Depending on qualifications, the candidate may also be expected to teach graduate courses focused in the Heavy/Civil Construction area.
