About Park County Public Works Department
The Solid Waste Division of the Park County Public Works Department with offices in Cody, Wyoming provides solid waste management services to the citizens of Park County, Wyoming and surrounding areas. The County waste management facilities includes three (3) operating solid waste landfills, a solid waste transfer station, and a wastewater lagoon system. These highly regulated facilities are permitted, designed, and operated under the authority of the the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality. Located within a 45 minute drive to Yellowstone Park, Park County is a paradise for outdoor hunters, fishermen, and outdoor enthusiasts with access to millions of acres of public land.
